This gorgeous pendant is made out of pure 925 sterling silver, with an outline of an ancient and powerful Jewish talisman - the Star of David, or Magen David, with a circular slot filled with roman glass fragments at its centre.

The Star of David is a six-pointed star, made out of two overlapping equilateral triangles, each pointing to opposite directions. Over the past millennia it became a recognized symbol of Judaism and Jewish identity, an amulet of protection and allegory for unity of God and man, heaven and earth - the very principles on which the universe is built.

The deep and sacred meaning of this symbol make this pendant a protective amulet, which will shield its owner from negative energy and any targeted or accidental evil.

It is a well known fact, that at its peak, Rome had the entirety of the area around the Mediterranean Sea under its control, and due to its placement and profusion of high quality sand, the area where Israel is now located became the centre of glassmaking.
