Meurav (Meorav Yerushalmi) is one of Jerusalem's classic street food spices.
Legend has it that Meorav Yerushalmi was first cooked at the Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem, when a street vendor took chicken liver, heart and spleen and cooked them with lamb fat, onions and spices, then poured the juicy combination into pita bread. This dish is so popular that several local steakhouses claim to be the first to invent it.
This blend will perfectly complement grilled lamb or chicken dishes. The aromatic spice blend will give the dish a great taste that will take you to the atmosphere of Middle Eastern markets, spice bazaars and street food. It will be a great gift for gourmets. This versatile blend can be used to make offal, cabbage rolls, and even add to sambuca!
